Payment
Options
When you place an
order, you will be given several payment options to choose from. We
accept Visa, MasterCard, and PayPal.
Customer credit cards will be billed as "Midnight Muse."
You may also pay
with personal checks or money orders via US mail, but please note
that mailed payments must be received within 15 business days or
the order will be cancelled.
Shipping
Time, Method, & Estimated Costs
We ship via U.S.
Priority Mail to the US and territories. The postage rates in the
shopping cart are estimated, but are nearly always within $1 or so of
the actual rates.
Please allow
7-14 days for delivery in most cases. Occasionally there is a lag
time for filling an order because we have gone out of stock on an
item and are waiting on a shipment from our suppliers. If an order
will take longer than 21 days to fill, we will contact you, or you
can enquire with us for an estimated arrival date.
Important:
If you need your purchase quickly, e.g., for a birthday gift, PLEASE
LET US KNOW, and we will let you know whether or not it can be
shipped in time. We will make every effort to accommodate your
wishes, but we have no way of knowing that an order is time-sensitive
unless you tell us.
International
Customers
International
customers, we welcome your orders, but please contact us for
shipping estimates to your country and allow us to set up a payment
page for your shipping costs. In most cases the U.S. postal rates are
NOT adequate for shipping overseas. We cannot ship your order until
proper postage has been paid.
Damaged
in Transit?
If your order
arrived damaged, contact us. We will pursue insurance compensation
with the post office.
Our
Return Policy
Please note

- Merchandise may
be returned for store credit or exchange only; no
refunds will be given.
- Returns must
be made within 30 days.
- Special-order
items (e.g., 4 necklaces of the same color for a wedding party) are not returnable.
- We will accept
exchanges only for items returned to us in like new condition.
We cannot refund payment for returned items which reach us damaged.
- Shipping costs
for sending back merchandise to us are the responsibility of the
customer. Returns for exchange are for the amount of the item only;
we cannot include shipping costs in that amount, as that money went
to the post office and was never ours to begin with. In other words,
if you buy something for $20 and pay $5 shipping, then return it to
us, your store credit or exchange amount will be $20, not $25.

We have an
extensive and thoughtfully-chosen selection of affiliate items to
supplement our regular merchandise, and hope you will find something
to tickle your fancy, improve your mind, beautify your home, honor
your gods, delight your friends, evoke your emotions, or simply
entertain you.
Q.
What are "affiliate items?"
A. These are items
for sale through the websites of larger companies (like Amazon.com
and Allposters.com), to which we have linked. We receive a small
commission on any items you purchase from the larger companies via a
link at our site. The affiliate program allows us to present you with
a greater number of beautiful items, which we carefully select to
harmonize with our site and our other merchandise.
Q.
How exactly does the affiliate ordering process work?
A. Say, for
example, you wish to purchase an art print from us, but there is no
button saying 'add to cart.' Simply click on the image, or the links
next to the image, and you will be taken to an 'affiliate' art site
where you can find out more about the item. Then, should you decide
to order, you simply follow that company's ordering instructions.
They are the ones who ship to you. Any returns or problems should
also be directed to them. |
